Great Plains has been a leader in seeding equipment in the USA since its inception in Salina, Kansas in 1976. Now a division of Kubota Australia, Great Plains Australia is recognised as a leader in Grain Drills, Vertical Tillage and Conventional Tillage Equipment, Fertilizer Applicators, Planters and Compact Drills.
For over 40 years, our nimble manufacturing facilities in Midwest America have connected with a global distribution network to deliver unmatched adaptability and quality. This is because our entire production process is vertically integrated, giving Great Plains total quality control from machining right through to assembly.
At our Research and Development facilities in Assaria, Kansas, all Great Plains equipment is designed in compliance with the latest and highest industry standards. Once a working prototype is built, it is rigorously tested in the lab, on the test track and in many different, demanding field conditions. This is to ensure that when it comes to manufacture and export, all Great Plains equipment is able to stand up to the harsh Australian elements. Once this process is complete and the engineering is proven, the Assaria facility designs and builds all the production tooling required to manufacture the product for export.
Great Plains are proud of our Midwestern American roots and our ability to optimise production and foster innovation in collaboration with Kubota Australia.
